FORM ADV
EXPLAINED.

Form ADV is the uniform registration and disclosure document that investment advisers file with regulators. It is divided into two parts, and together they tell you who we are, how we work, and how we are compensated.

Form ADV — Part 1

Form ADV Part 1 is used by investment advisers to register with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and state securities authorities. It provides specific information about an investment adviser’s business, ownership, clients, employees, business practices, affiliations, and any disciplinary events involving the firm or its employees.

Form ADV — Part 2

Form ADV Part 2 is the plain-English disclosure document written for clients and prospective clients, and it comes in two pieces. Part 2A (the firm brochure) includes information such as the types of advisory services offered, the adviser’s fee schedule, disciplinary information, conflicts of interest, business affiliations, and other disclosures that may be of interest to you. Part 2B provides information on the business background of key advisory personnel. Investment advisers are required to deliver a copy of their Form ADV Part 2 to clients.

Before you hire anyone to serve as your investment adviser, always ask for — and read carefully — all parts of that adviser’s Form ADV. You can access all parts of the ProPartners Wealth Form ADV on the SEC’s website here.
